Obi Ofoegbu

VP OF ENGINEERING

Obi Ofoegbu joined Amp Americas in 2012 and has held several operations leadership roles at the company. He currently serves as the VP of Engineering overseeing biogas engineering and operations. He is responsible for designing, managing and delivering multiple dairy RNG projects with 66,000 cows on 12 dairies and leads project development efforts. Obi also assists with regulatory compliance and has successfully led the registration of multiple low CI pathways with California's Air Resources Board. In his role as VP of Engineering, Obi was instrumental in the successful closing of Amp Americas’ second round of private equity funding. 

Obi holds an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, a Masters in Chemical Engineering with a focus on alternative energy technologies from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas.

Obi enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about futbol (soccer).
